ChasingLance.net — A Tour de France travel blog

In 2003 & 2004, as Lance Armstrong was going for his 5th and 6th consecutive Tour de France victories, I went over to France with my bike and a handful of ex racing buddies and followed the tour in person. I hired a flash designer and created ChasingLance.net to chronicle our experience. Each night I uploaded photos I had taken during the day of our adventures and updated the site with reports from the mountains of France as we cheered on our hero to his legendary victories. The site was picked up by a dozen national news sources such as the Oregonian in Portland, OR and the Austin-American Statesman (Lance's hometown paper), as well as made the site of the day on LanceArmstrong.com.
